Key Requirements

  1. A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
  2. Have attained CIPD qualification or other HR qualification.
  3. Good employment law knowledge.
  4. Best Practice HR knowledge.
  5. Proficient in the use of technology and Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  6. Office admin support
  7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  8. Ability to work on own initiative.
  9. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  10. Strong administration skills.

Main Function(s)

  • The Management of all day to day HR matters for Cancer Trials Ireland and to support the HR Business Partner.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support Recruitment activity such as posting ads, screening candidates, reference checks, recruitment administration etc.
  • Issue employment contracts, other letters and correspondence to staff.
  • Support new staff in their induction and onboarding routines.
  • First point of contact for HR related queries.
  • Dealing with day-to-day HR queries from employees & management in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build strong credible relationships with all employees.
  • Review and develop HR policies and procedures
  • Manage the Induction process and review/update Employee Handbook.
  • Represent the HR Department on various cross functional teams, as required
  • Support in all administration areas including Performance Management
  • Assist with internal and external events.
  • Lead and manage ad hoc HR projects as assigned.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Business Partner.
  • Support the Office relocation
  • Any other projects and duties where they arise
