ICORG’s Leading Role in Cancer Research in Ireland recognised by Irish Medicines Board

The Irish Medicines Board (IMB) commented at a recent Board Meeting that whilst Clinical Trial activity is decreasing in Ireland, it is not in the area of Oncology.

They have indicated that the high level of Cancer Clinical Trials in operation is due to the “effectiveness of ICORG” and have suggested that a similar model should be explored by other medical areas.

This acknowledgment of the important work ICORG performs from the IMB follows other recent positive feedback from a number of International Review groups.
